Illuminated museum building in Leiden during Museum Night

Museum Night Leiden — thirteen museums, one evening

One evening a year Leiden's museums stay open late with a programme you cannot get by day: depot tours, music between the collections and performances in the galleries. One ticket gets you into all of them.

What to expect

  • Access to almost every Leiden museum with a single wristband.
  • Special tours, talks and concerts inside the galleries.
  • A route across the historic centre, all on foot.
  • A younger, going-out crowd and a festival atmosphere.

Practical information

  • When: every year in September, on a Saturday evening.
  • Tickets: sold online in advance and often gone before the night itself.
  • Plan three to five museums; more is unrealistic.
  • Start with the busiest venues, such as Naturalis or the National Museum of Antiquities.

Frequently asked questions
