Museum Het Leidse Wevershuis on the Middelstegracht is a fully furnished weaver's house of around 1750: living room, box bed, kitchen and workshop with a working loom from the era when Leiden lived off cloth and textiles.

What you will see

The house is furnished as it was around 1750 and staffed by volunteers who weave themselves and tell the story of Leiden's cloth industry — spinning wheels, looms and the cramped rooms of a family that lived off textiles.
